Top 10 Keto Drink

Top 10 Keto Drink

It's easy to get caught up in keeping a record of everything you can (and cannot) consume on the keto diet (goodbye, pasta; hello, Chicken). But, uh, what about all those hydrating beverages?

Here are some ground rules!

Unlike fruit juice and normal soda, sugar (which may be present in both) is not a good friend (carbs, duh). Furthermore, although cheese and paneer are usually OK on the ketogenic diet, cow's milk is not always the best option (one cup has 12 grams of carbs).

Here are the Top 10 Keto Friendly Drinks

1. Tea & Coffee

Black is preferable, but if you need a little flavouring to take it to the next level, use a Stevia or Erythritol to sweeten it. You can add little cream or almond milk or coconut milk. A very little quantity of milk too won’t be a big problem.

2. Keto Turmeric Milkshake

Another keto drink with great keto nutrients is the turmeric milkshake. It can be consumed both cold and hot. It's jam-packed with health benefits. Turmeric is a natural healer that is also beneficial to the heart. Almond or Coconut Milk would be preferred. If using Milk, prefer normal milk, not the super skimmed milk.

3. Seltzer or Sparkling Water

This is a terrific way to spice up your regular water.  Avoid tonic, which appears to be plain bubbling water but includes a tonne of sugar. A touch of lemon can be added to further enhance the taste

4. Lemon Thyme Ice Tea

The citrus and thyme provide a mild, pleasant taste and aroma to this recipe, which is really simple to create. A refreshing keto drink to keep you cool.

5. Unsweetened Almond or Coconut Milk

Make sure the variety you choose is unsweetened and conforms to coconut or almond.

6. Bone Broth

Sipping a steaming cup of bone broth is wonderfully soothing and comforting. It provides the nutrition of the highest class. If you are a vegetarian, you can always opt for vegetable-based broth.

7. Keto Smoothies

Fruit is a problematic choice while on the keto diet—berries are fine, but apples and bananas are not. Rather than loading your blender with fruit juices, take advantage of this opportunity, to increase your fat content, by using full-fat coconut milk, heavy cream, or coconut oil.

8. Cucumber and Lime Infused Water

Take a jug of cold water and fill it halfway with ice. Fill the container with half a cucumber cut into thin slices and 3-4 tablespoons of lemon drops. Set aside for 15 minutes prior to serving.

9. Dry wines

Some types of wine can be sugary bombers (I'm looking at you, Riesling), but dry wines are usually sugar-free.

10. Kombucha

This isn't the best option, and it shouldn't be your go-to choice for keto drinks. However, on rare occasions, If you're looking for something sweet and soda-like, try kombucha, a gut-friendly fermented beverage.
